Neoprene® synthetic rubber or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chloroprene. Neoprene exhibits good chemical stability, and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. B Foam Neoprene is used in a wide variety of applications, such as laptop sleeves, orthopedic braces (wrist, knee, etc.) for both humans and animals, insulating and protective covers.1
L foam is an all chloroprene foam, meant for wetsuits. This very thin foam would be most useful for shallow water activities.
L Foam Neoprene is made in sheets that are approximately 47" x 82" ±5% in size. They are typically covered on both sides by a light nylon or polyester tricot mesh. The neoprene thickness is approximately 3.0mm and so the total thickness including the 2 mesh covering sheets is 3.9mm.
