Neoprene® synthetic rubber or polychloroprene is a family of synthetic rubbers that are produced by polymerization of chloroprene. Neoprene exhibits good chemical stability, and maintains flexibility over a wide temperature range. B Foam Neoprene is used in a wide variety of applications, such as laptop sleeves, orthopedic braces (wrist, knee, etc.) for both humans and animals, insulating and protective covers.
B Foam Neoprene is made of approximately 70% SBR and 30% CR Neoprene rubber. Although not as resistant to ozone as 100% CR neoprene rubber sheets, pricing is much more competitive. B Foam Neoprene is made in sheets that are approximately 47" x 82" ±5% in size. They are typically covered on both sides by a light nylon or polyester tricot mesh.
